# sk184525 - Traffic drop in HTTPS inspection when header exceeds 1024 bytes

## Symptoms

- * Traffic drop in HTTPS inspection when header exceeds 1024 bytes when the Application Control blade is active.

* Running Kernel debug (`$FWDIR/bin/fw zdebug + drop`) on the Security Gateway shows the error:

  `appi_clobs_observer_execute_app_parameters: header length is more than 1024 bytes (1033 bytes);`

* HTTPS Inspection and tenant restrictions are configured as per sk146993.

## Cause

The Security Gateway enforces a maximum header injection size of 1024 bytes during HTTPS Inspection with Application Control. If the injected header exceeds this limit, traffic is dropped.

## Solution
