# sk184523 - Power Supply Status 'Present' on Check Point 6000L Appliances Triggers SNMP Alarms

## Symptoms

- SNMP monitoring system triggers an alarm for the Check Point 6000L Quantum appliance when the power supply status shows 'Present'.

## Cause

This behavior is by design. On 6000L appliances running Gaia R81.10 and higher, 'Present' indicates a healthy power supply.  
Other Quantum models use 'UP' for the same condition. If the SNMP monitoring system is configured to expect 'UP', it will generate false alarms.
