## Symptoms

- * SmartConsole cannot connect the Quantum Security Management environment to Infinity Portal. Error message:
`Failed to connect Quantum Management environment to Infinity Portal.`
* The Extended Detection and Response (XDR) service does not receive logs.
* Logs do not appear in Infinity Portal.
* Log indexer shows repeated HTTPS timeouts to Microsoft Azure blob storage in `$EXPORTERDIR/targets/laas/log/log_indexer.elg`.
  Example:
`HTTPSender::performSend: connection failure (curl error: Failed to connect to dtwesteuropeprod3.blob.core.windows.net port 443: Connection timed out) (curl error number: 7)`
* The Infinity Tunnel log `/opt/CPInfinityTunnel/log/tunnel.log` contains Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) timeout messages, for example:
`Failed to obtain OCSP response: connect ETIMEDOUT 203.0.113.10:80`

## Cause

The Security Management Server cannot reach Microsoft Azure blob storage and OCSP validation endpoints because the firewall policy does not allow these Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs). The server cannot complete outbound HTTPS connections required for log delivery and certificate validation.
