# sk184468 - Export Logs to CSV Fails with Log Indexer Core Dumps

## Symptoms

- * Unable to export to CSV.
* Export to CSV fails or remains in **Running** state continuously with no progress.
* Log Indexer core dump is observed shortly after initiating the export.

## Cause

In rare scenarios, log iteration advances the pointer beyond the end of the log container. Dereferencing this invalid pointer results in a process crash.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:
