## Symptoms

- When using "where used" in SmartConsole to replace an item referenced more than 500 times, the operation fails because the default limit is 500.

## Cause

SmartConsole configuration restricts **ObjectsLimit** and **RulesLimit**to 500, preventing display of all references.

## Solution

Starting from:

* **[SmartConsole R82.10](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R82.10_SC/Default.htm) starting from Build 424**
* **[SmartConsole R82.10 Build 1065](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R82_SC/Default.htm)**

To increase the limit:

1. Close all SmartConsole applications.

2. Edit the *SmartConsole.exe.conf* file and set the following fields:
   * *ObjectsLimit*
   * *RulesLimit*
