# sk184457 - Local user Is created when a templated user logs into GuiDBedit on the Security Management Server

## Symptoms

- When a templated user logs in to GuiDBedit on the Security Management Server, the system automatically creates a local user account with the same username.

* A templated user in Check Point Security Management refers to a user object created based on a predefined user template. This template acts as a profile containing default settings and properties that are automatically applied to any new user created from it.
* GuiDBedit is a database editing tool for Check Point Security Management.
