# sk184444 - Rapid consumption of disk space on the Multi-Domain Server due to duplicate Log Exporter instances with the darwin_dummy suffix

## Symptoms

- * Rapid consumption of disk space in the root partition of the Multi-Domain Server.

* Output of these commands prints duplicate Log Exporter instances with the `darwin_dummy` suffix:

* `cp_log_export show`
* `cp_log_export status`
* `ls -l $EXPORTERDIR/targets/`
* After manual deletion, new Log Exporter instances with the `darwin_dummy` suffix are automatically recreated.

## Cause

The Log Exporter auto-update mechanism repeatedly creates dummy Log Exporter objects along with their associated directories. This behavior leads to rapid consumption of disk space in the root partition. Manual deletion of these objects is ineffective because the auto-update process recreates them. Additionally, large log and trace files accumulate in the root partition, further reducing available disk space.
