# sk184387 - No traffic on a Bonding Group slave interface

## Symptoms

- * Packet capture on a Bonding Group slave interface shows that LACP traffic is received, but is not sent.

* The slave interface has a MAC address of 00:00:00:00:00:00.

* The Clish "`show interface`" command shows that monitor mode is on, for example:  

  ```
  Hostname> show interface eth2
  state off
  mac-addr 00:50:56:a3:38:e4
  type ethernet
  link-state link down
  mtu 1500
  auto-negotiation off
  speed N/A
  ipv6-autoconfig Not configured
  monitor-mode on
  duplex N/A

  ```

## Cause

The Bond slave interface is configured in monitor mode, which is not supported (see [sk101670 - Monitor Mode on Gaia OS](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk101670)).
