# sk184328 - On-Premises Endpoint Management Server No Longer Auto-Updates Security Clients with "Latest" Policy (Starting in Harmony Endpoint Linux Version 1.26.x)

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security Clients managed by an on-premises Endpoint Management Server are configured with a deployment policy set to `Latest`.
* Clients no longer receive automatic updates to newer client versions after upgrading the Endpoint Security Management Server to version 1.26.x or later.
* The issue started in Endpoint Security Client for Linux version 1.26.x. Previously, clients connected to the internet were automatically updated to the newest available version.

## Cause

This change is part of an update to the agent version management and deployment mechanism introduced in Harmony Endpoint for Linux version 1.26.x.  

As a result, the Endpoint Management Server no longer automatically downloads or distributes new agent packages when `Latest` is selected.
