# sk184316 - Generic Data Center Object changes not reflected in SmartConsole GUI

## Symptoms

- * After editing the IP address in a Generic Data Center object JSON file, the change does not appear in the SmartConsole policy view, however the Gateway executing the policy with the edited object successfully updates it with the new IP address.
* When importing an object from the Data Center Object, the new IP address is visible. However, when viewing the object afterwards, it still displays the old IP address.
* When testing the connection to the Generic Data Center, it is connected.

## Cause

The change in the Management Server Database is not reflected in the SmartConsole session.

## Solution

This issue is cosmetic.  

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
