## Symptoms

- * On newly installed Check Point Quantum Appliances running Gaia R82.10, the `/usr/bin/scponly` shell is no longer available.

* Attempts to configure a user with the `/usr/bin/scponly` shell through the WebUI or CLI fail.

## Cause

The `/usr/bin/scponly` shell was intentionally removed from Gaia version R82.10.
