# sk184268 - "DOS features are not supported for SecureXL User Space Mode with LightSpeed" error in the /var/log/messages file on a Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- The error "`DOS features are not supported for SecureXL User Space Mode with LightSpeed`" appears in the `/var/log/messages` file on a Check Point appliance.

## Cause

SecureXL commands that change the Rate Limiting for DoS mitigation configuration (`fwaccel dos`) are not supported in this configuration:

1. An acceleration card (CPAC-2-40/100F-C or CPAC-2-40/100F-D) is installed
2. SecureXL is running in the UPPAK mode
