# sk184264 - Check Point Response to CVE-2025-8305 - Identity Agent for a Terminal Server Vulnerability

## Symptoms

- An authenticated local user can access resources based on security policy rules that are assigned to a different user.

## Cause

Sensitive information is accessible in the logs for Check Point Identity Agent for a Terminal Server. This issue is relevant to both flavors of Identity Agent for a Terminal Server:

* Identity Agent for a Terminal Server version 1 (MUH1)
* Identity Agent for a Terminal Server version 2 (MUH2)

This issue was published as [CVE-2025-8305](https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2025-8305).

## Solution

This issue was resolved in Identity Agent for a Terminal Server version **81.084.0000** .  

If you are using a version lower than **81.084.0000** , download the latest version of Identity Agent for a Terminal Server (MUH1 or MUH2) from [sk134312](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk134312).  

**To see the version of Identity Agent for a Terminal Server:**   

1. On the Terminal Server, open the **Identity Agent** application.
2. From the left toolbar, click **Advanced** .  
   The Version appears in the **Client Configuration** section.
