## Symptoms

- I received an alert(Company Subdomain Vulnerable to Hijacking) from Argos that my subdomain is vulnerable to Hijacking. I resolved the issue by fixing the DNS records. I expected the alert for this to be closed but it did not, why?

## Solution

These alerts are intentionally not auto-closed. This is by design, as the system cannot distinguish between a subdomain that has been properly remediated and one that has been hijacked---the observable outcome appears the same in both cases.

As a result, it is the responsibility of the customer to manually close the alert once they have verified and resolved the issue.

Please see below a screenshot of the alert dashboard. Here you can find the related alerts along with an explanation about what the alert is and what subdomains are affected.
