## Symptoms

- * During login attempts to SmartConsole:

  * SmartConsole loads slowly and frequently disconnects.
  * Users experience latency and blank screens.
  * This error appears in SmartConsole:
    "*Connection to server was lost.*"
  * High CPU usage (80-100%) observed on the Security Management Server.
  * Postgres and Java processes show high resource consumption.

  <br />

* Performance degradation started after enabling the Compliance blade.

## Cause

When enabled, the Compliance blade triggered intensive scanning and notifications, which overloaded the Security Management Server's CPU and database processes (PostgreSQL and Java). This resulted in SmartConsole slowness and login failures. The configuration parameter `interpreterPartialDelay` in the `grc.conf` file did not optimize scan intervals, causing persistent high load.
