# sk184135 - Identity collector does not send user information to Security Gateway and cannot connect to Domain Controllers (DCs)

## Symptoms

- * Users cannot authenticate themselves to access resources located behind an Identity Awareness Gateway. The gateway is configured to get user and group information about these users from Identity Collector.
* Identity Collector cannot connect to Domain Controllers (DCs).

## Cause

A rare issue causes Identity Collector not to identify when it is disconnected from Domain Controllers.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from Identity Collector version R82.125.0000 (Release Date: June 29, 2025). You can download the latest version of Identity Collector from [sk134312.](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk134312)
If you do not want to download the latest version of Identity Collector, then [contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue.  
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
