## Symptoms

- * Log sharing from on-premises Security Management Server (SMS) to Infinity Portal fails. The issue started after the upgrade.
* In SmartConsole, log sharing displays a red X error. No specific error message is shown.
* The following error messages appear in the *log_indexer.elg* file:
  `ExportConfiguration::init failed to parse .../LaaSFieldsMapping.xml: cannot open file`
  `
  LogsExporter::Start configuration initialization failure - exiting.`
* Toggling log sharing on/off temporarily shows a green check mark, but logs are not sent to Infinity Portal.
* In EXtended Detection and Response (XDR), Quantum Gateway integration appears inactive.
* No logs from the on-premises Security Management Server are visible in Infinity Events.

## Cause

The Security Management Server is missing required configuration files (*LaaSFieldsMapping.xml* and *JsonFormatDefinition.xml* ) in the `/opt/CPrt-R82/log_exporter/targets/laas/conf/` directory. These files are necessary for the log exporter process to initialize and forward logs to the Infinity Portal. Without these files, the log exporter fails to start, resulting in no logs being sent to the portal.
