## Symptoms

- * When trying to add a Correlation Unit to the SmartEvent Server and select a Log Server object:

  * This error appears:
    "*Validation error in field "corr_unit_list" of element #1 in the OnlineJob object in Eventia Jobs*"
  * Multiple Log Server objects appear (including one marked as deleted).

  <br />

* General errors observed with respect to the `AUTOUPDATeR` process, which restarts multiple times within half an hour.

* Upgrading to the latest recommended version (R81.10 JHF Take 172) and replacing the *sem_jobs.C* file (according to [sk37565 - Validation error in field "corr_unit_list" of element #1 at object "OnlineJob" @ "Eventia Jobs"](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk37565)) does not resolve the issue.

## Cause

The database contained two objects that represent the Log Server object. One object had a suffix indicating it was deleted. When the user added a Correlation Unit, both objects appeared in the selection list. The validation process failed due to the incorrect Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) associated with the deleted object. The Firewall Management (FWM) validation process checked all objects, including deleted ones, which led to a mismatch and failure. This caused corruption in the OnlineJob database entries related to Correlation Units.
