# sk184018 - IPv6 rdisc6 configuration fails with "Routed reports the cluster mode is unknown (-2)" error in ClusterXL High Availability

## Symptoms

- * Attempting to enable Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) with the command `"set ipv6 rdisc6"` for any interface fails with the error:  
  `
  "Routed reports the cluster mode is unknown (-2)"`.

* ClusterXL is running in HA over LS mode, for example:

  ```
  
  [Expert@Hostname-01:0]# cphaprob stat
  
  Cluster Mode: HA Over LS
  ```

* The issue persists after upgrading to R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (JHF) Take 96.

## Cause

Active-Active mode is enabled in the router-options on a ClusterXL deployment, causing the routed process not to properly determine the cluster state, which in turn prevents the configuration of IPv6 rdisc6 on any port.
