# sk184000 - WebUI "Session Timeout" on Spark Firewall when saving Internet connection

## Symptoms

- * In Quantum Spark appliances running version R81.10.17, when you save the internet connection in the WebUI, the operation fails and the message "*Session timeout*" appears.

* The Save button is unavailable due to a validation error, but the field causing the error is not indicated.

* When you run this command in Gaia Clish on the Security Gateway:

  `show internet-connections`

  Some fields display unexpected or corrupted text (for example, random characters or incomplete values).

## Cause

Upgrading from version R81.10.10.15 to R81.10.17, if the first internet connection was last edited in version R81.10.05 or lower, may cause corruption in the WAN Database (WAN DB) on the Security Gateway. This corruption results in invalid entries and prevents saving changes in the WebUI.
