## Symptoms

- * When attempting to integrate the on-premises Security Management Server (SMS) with the Infinity Portal for the Internet of Things (IoT) blade via SmartConsole, a browser window opens with this error:
  `"Something went wrong. `
`Relevant information about this error was recorded in our servers and we will look into it ASAP. `
  `Please refresh to try again.
  `
`In case the issue persists, please contact our support. Error Id: 747ef5b6-065a-4eba-8b96-dbd3a899c098."`
* The environment includes a newly installed Security Management Server connected to a tenant previously used for IoT services.

## Cause

The **Temporarily disable IoT** option was enabled in the Infinity Portal settings. This setting prevented the IoT blade integration from completing successfully. The option may have been inadvertently enabled during previous troubleshooting or configuration changes.
