# sk183973 - CME controller configurations are not displayed in SmartConsole with an error: "Version can not be None"

## Symptoms

- * CME controller configurations are not displayed in SmartConsole.
* In SmartConsole, under CloudGuard Network (CME Configuration), the following error messages appear:
  * `Version can not be None`
  * `CME is in read only mode`
* `autoprov-cfg` correctly shows all existing configurations.

## Cause

One or more CME configuration templates are missing the required version information. CME cannot process templates without a defined version, which causes the error and puts CME into read-only mode.
