# sk183970 - SNMP Alerting Not Supported in Smart-1 LOM/iDRAC (all versions)

## Symptoms

- The SNMP alerting option does not appear in the Lights-Out Management (LOM) Web User Interface (WebUI) of Quantum Smart-1 appliances.

## Cause

Smart-1 LOM does not support SNMP alerting by design.

## Solution

This is expected behavior.

Direct SNMP polling of the LOM/iDrac is not supported; you can use Gaia SNMP to query those sensors. For more information, see [sk90860](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk90860).
