# sk183967 - Cannot access Gaia gClish from the Expert mode after upgrade to R81.20 on Maestro

## Symptoms

- * After upgrading Maestro to R81.20, logging in to Gaia gClish from the Expert mode fails.

* The `asg perf -v` command produces no output.

* Memory utilization reported by the `free -m` command differs significantly from the `asg perf -v` command. The `asg perf -v` command shows a constant value.

* Memory usage in SmartConsole differs from the `asg perf -v` output.

* You can access Gaia gClish after enabling the global mode from the local clish, but not directly from the Expert mode.

## Cause

During the upgrade, the `smo_post_install.sh` script may not execute completely.

This script configures Maestro shell environments and system parameters. If it fails, required environment variables and binaries are missing, leading to:

* gClish login failures from the Expert mode
* `asg perf -v` showing no output or constant values
* Incorrect memory utilization metrics in the CLI and SNMP
