## Symptoms

- * Remote Access VPN users authenticate themselves using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configured in Microsoft Entra ID. The users receive an Office Mode IP address from an external DHCP server. Then, the users can access internal resources located behind a Check Point VPN Gateway. Users lose access to internal resources after several hours.
* In the *ike.elg* debug file on the VPN Gateway, at the time the users were disconnected, under "`Config mode`" packet, "`User not in OM group (1)`" appears. For more information about IKE debug, see [sk180488](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk180488)

## Cause

This is expected behavior. The VPN Gateway drops the traffic when the Office Mode lease time reaches its half-life on the external DHCP server. This is due to the combination of the SAML (Entra ID) authentication and the external DHCP responsible for the Office Mode.
