# sk183918 - Harmony Endpoint Security Client Fails to Retrieve Installation Package from Specified URL

## Symptoms

- When the Harmony Endpoint Security Client attempts to download the \``EPS.msi`\` installation package from a web server, it converts uppercase characters in the URL to lowercase. This behavior causes the server to return an HTTP 404 Not Found error.

## Cause

The Endpoint Security Client incorrectly normalizes the URL by converting uppercase characters to lowercase, resulting in a mismatch with the actual file path on the server.

## Solution

**Permanent Solution:**   

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.
**Workaround:**   

Change the hosting URL of the installation package so that all characters are lowercase (e.g., `eps.msi` instead of `EPS.msi`).  

**Warning** : Before applying this workaround, verify that all dependent systems, scripts, and integrations referencing the original URL are updated accordingly. Test in a staging environment if possible.
