## Symptoms

- * Policy installation failed on gateway. If the problem persists contact Check Point support (Error code: 0-2-2000245) or (Error code: 0-2-2000264).

* Some Updatable Objects in SmartConsole appear without icons.

* Deleting the *$FWDIR/database/dynamic_objects.db* file on the Security Gateway temporarily resolves the issue, but it returns on the next policy installation.

* The solution in [sk178886](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk178886) does not resolve the issue or resolves it only for a few days until the next automatic IPS update.

## Cause

The Security Management Server incorrectly handles Updatable Objects during automatic IPS updates.

During automatic IPS updates, the Security Management Server receives a cache-clear trigger that deletes the "extender list", which stores metadata for Updatable Objects. This prevents proper initialization, causing missing icons and policy install failures.
