## Symptoms

- Even after enabling the policy setting "`Allow to install software deployment packages from local folders or URLs`" in EPMaaS, the Harmony Endpoint Security Client fails to retrieve the installation package from the specified local file server path (for example, \\\\XXX.XXX.X.XX\\shared\\EPS.msi) during upgrade.

## Cause

The `EPS.msi` files generated from dynamic packages in Harmony Endpoint Management as a Service (EPMaaS) are not digitally signed by Check Point. The *Check Point Deployment Agent (CPDA)* enforces signature validation and will not install unsigned packages.

By design, CPDA only supports deployment of signed packages from:

* Check Point Support Center
* Manually signed packages by Check Point for local or Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path deployment.
Dynamic packages are therefore not supported for deployment from local paths or URLs.
