# sk183837 - Linux Strongswan Clients receive only partial encryption domain from Maestro Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * When Linux users connect with the Strongswan client to a Maestro Security Gateway running R81.20, they receive only 15 traffic selectors, even though more networks are configured in the encryption domain.
* As a result, many internal networks are unreachable for Strongswan client users.
* Windows and Mac users with the Check Point Endpoint Security client receive the full encription domain and do not experience this issue.
* Gateway debug logs confirm that only a partial set of traffic selectors is sent. In IKE debugs:   
  `ikeSimpOrder::getMyPolicyTS: vpn_routing size = 14`

## Cause

A code limitation in the Check Point Security Gateway (R81.20) affects Internet Key Exchange version 2 (IKEv2) traffic selector calculation for third-party clients such as Strongswan.  

The Security Gateway incorrectly limits the number of traffic selectors sent to non-Check Point clients, resulting in only a partial list (15 out of the expected 87) being delivered.  

This limitation does not affect Check Point Endpoint Security clients, which use a different negotiation mechanism.
