# sk183780 - "Internal error" in Gaia Clish when running the "tacacs_enable" command

## Symptoms

- "`Internal error`" appears in this scenario:

1. Connect to the command line on a Gaia server configured to authenticate users with a TACACS+ server.

2. Log in with a TACACS+ user configured with the TACP-0 level.

3. Run the "`tacacs_enable TACP-15`" command to escalate the privilege from TACP-0 to TACP-15.

   After 10 seconds, the message "`Internal error`" appears.

   Example:

   `MyGaia:TACP-0> tacacs_enable TACP-15`  
   `
   Enable password: ******`  
   `
   Internal error`  
   `
   MyGaia:TACP-0>`

## Cause

Gaia OS has a built-in timeout of 10 seconds for getting a response from the configured TACACS+ servers (although Gaia OS allows you to configure this timeout).

This built-in timeout may be shorter than the time a TACACS+ server needs to complete the user authentication.
