# sk183733 - LLDP data formatting issues when querying using SNMP

## Symptoms

- * LLDP output using SNMP shows interface names as hexadecimal values instead of strings, especially for certain neighbor interfaces (for example, "Eth101/1/10" is sent as hex, while "Ethernet1/12" is sent as a string.
* The Chassis ID (MA field) for MAC address is also not in the expected format.
* All data is returned on a single line instead of multiple lines.
* The issue is observed consistently when querying using SNMP, but not when running the script directly on the CLI.

## Cause

Incorrect MAC address extraction. The code fails to correctly read MAC address bytes from network packets.
