# sk183709 - QoS policy is not installed after rebooting an R82 Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * After rebooting the Security Gateway or running `cpstop ; cpstart`, the QoS policy is no longer present. You can verify the status of QoS with the command `# fgate stat`.

* SmartConsole shows an alert regarding the Security Gateway that contains thus error: "`QoS is not installed`".

* The QoS policy is enabled and can be installed successfully.

* It is not possible to fetch the policy with the command `# fgate fetch -f`.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
