# sk183682 - "At least one subnet should be configured and enabled in order for the DHCP server to be enabled" error when enabling DHCP Server in a subnet assigned to a Bridge interface

## Symptoms

- 1. In Gaia Portal \> in the **Network Management** section \> on the **Network Interfaces** page, added a Bridge interface with an IPv4 address configured.
2. In the **Network Management** section \> on the **DHCP Server** page \> in the **DHCP Server Subnet Configuration** section, enabled DHCP only in the subnet of the Bridge interface.
3. In the **Network Management** section \> on the **DHCP Server** page \> in the **DHCP Server Configuration** section, selected **Enable DHCP Server** and clicked **Apply**.
4. This error appears:  
   `At least one subnet should be configured and enabled in order for the DHCP server to be enabled.`  
   `
   DHCP server, Interface selection error.`

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:

Check Point recommends to always upgrading to the most recent version.

If you choose not to upgrade, Check Point can supply a **Hotfix**.
