# sk183676 - SmartConsole Internal Error When Creating a Host Object with Network Policy Management Enabled

## Symptoms

- * When attempting to create a new Host object in SmartConsole with the Network Policy Management option enabled, the Publish operation fails. The following error appears:

  "*Error: Publish failed. Action Failed due to an Internal Error.*"
* CPM Debug logs show insufficient permission errors during the publishing process:

  *errorCode='CP_ERR_INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSIONS'*

## Cause

Only the Gaia pre-defined **admin** account is assigned the **adminRole** which grants full permissions to all features. Other administrator roles lack the necessary privileges, which causes the publishing operation to fail.
