# sk183633 - Custom SNMP Traps for BGP do not send reports from Maestro MDPS Firewall

## Symptoms

- * The relevant firewall is a Maestro with MDPS enabled.
* After configuring custom SNMP Traps with BGP monitoring OIDs, they are not being sent by the firewall. However, querying to the same OIDs with SNMP commands, such as SNMPWALK, works perfectly.

## Cause

There is a list of OIDs that are running from Dplane.

* If an OID is not in this list, the SNMP monitor runs it only from the Mplane.
* BGP OIDs are not included in the list. Therefore, these OIDs are monitored from the Mplane.

As a result, if the Dplane contains BGP configuration, querying it from the Mplane fails, and no trap is sent.
