# sk183626 - Traffic is dropped with "PSL Drop: UP_LIMIT" reason

## Symptoms

- * Traffic is dropped with "`PSL Drop: UP_LIMIT`" reason. The rule matched by this traffic enforces a bandwidth rate limit.
* The problem is stopped after Security Gateway reboot or policy installation.
* Member A as the active node and Member B in standby mode. When Member A is rebooted, Member B seamlessly takes over without any packet drops related to the UP_LIMIT. Once Member A comes back online, it resumes the active role due to its higher priority. At this point, packet drops for PSL: UP_LIMIT begin to occur.
