# sk183598 - Cannot edit internal_sendmail script in Smart-1 Cloud

## Symptoms

- * Cannot edit an Mail Alert script `internal_sendmail` in Global Properties of Smart-1 Cloud or Harmony Endpoint.
* An error is logged: "Failed to save object. Server error is: Not allowed to run script on Management as a Service..."

## Cause

Defining alerts or sending mail involves running user-defined scripts on the Security Management Server.   

Editing and running user-defined scripts on the Security Management Server is not allowed in Smart-1 Cloud.
