## Symptoms

- * Gaia OS fails the authentication of RADIUS users when the RADIUS Users Default Shell is "`/bin/bash`".

* Gaia OS successfully authenticates RADIUS users when the RADIUS Users Default Shell is "`/etc/cli.sh`".

* The "`/var/log/messages`" and "`/var/log/secure`" files on the Gaia server shows this failure for an SSH login with a RADIUS user:


  `sshd[XXX]: fatal: login_get_lastlog: Cannot find account for uid 96`

## Cause

This required line is missing from the "`/etc/passwd`" file:

`_nonlocl:x:96:100:Non-local user:/home/_nonlocl:/etc/cli.sh`
