## Symptoms

- * CPview \> "SysInfo" page \> "Hardware Information" section shows the hardware platform of a Maestro Security Group Member as "`Open Server`" instead of "`Check Point Maestro`".

  Example:

* Skyline reports the hardware platform of a Maestro Security Group Member as "`Open Server`" instead of "`Check Point Maestro`".

  Example:

* There is no impact on traffic or health on this Security Group Member.

## Cause

By design, only the SMO Security Group Member can retrieve the full hardware model information using the Gaia Clish command "`show asset all`". Other Security Group Members rely on cached data or on the file `/tmp/HW_prop_2` to show their hardware model.

If this file is missing or corrupted, the Security Group Member reports its hardware platform as "Open Server" in CPview and in Skyline.
