# sk183544 - IOCTL failures causing crashes and freezes in various processes

## Symptoms

- * FWK or CPD crashes on Gateway, VSX or Maestro/VSX-Maestro.

* One of the blades enabled: AV/AB/URLF/ZPH, and RAD sends large number of IOCTLs

* We see the following messages in fwk.elg:.

* `fwk_ioctl_mq_get_reverse_sock: failed to receive reverse socket for pid`

* `fwk_ioctl_mq_read: failed`

* In SP, we see the following messages on SMO:

  * `lbd_send_bucket_list: members = 0xd00000000, active_members = 0x100200000000`

  * `where values of members and active members are greater than 0x10000000.`

  * `It indicates that the SMO was sending corrupted state to the MHOs.`

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
