# sk183528 - On 3600 and 3800 Appliances, SNMP "powerSupplyFailure" Trap Is Still Sent When Only One Power Adapter Is Configured

## Symptoms

- On 3600 and 3800 appliances, SNMP `powerSupplyFailure` trap is still sent when only one power adapter is configured.

## Cause

When you set `min_psu_set_by_user 1` as instructed in [sk166000](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk166000), the alarm LED turns off even if only one power supply unit (PSU) is connected. However, the SNMP `powerSupplyFailure` trap continues to be sent. This happens because the SNMP trap logic was not updated to reflect the configuration change made in sk166000.

As a result, on 3600 and 3800 appliances, the system still generates a `powerSupplyFailure` trap when only one PSU is connected, even if `min_psu_set_by_user` is set to 1.
