## Symptoms

- Cloning a policy package in SmartConsole fails to complete. The task window shows progress stuck at 10%. You may also see the following error message:

`Policy name cannot be longer than 31 characters`

## Cause

The policy name entered during the cloning process exceeds the maximum limit of 31 characters.
