## Symptoms

- In Management Server's Asset Management the machine has "Quota Exceeded" error

## Cause

This error occurs when a specific endpoint exceeds its daily emulation quota limit. While your organization's license covers a total number of emulations across all endpoints, there is an enforced per-endpoint limit of 250 emulations per day. This limit is in place to prevent a single machine from consuming the entire organization's quota.

Common reasons for this include:

* The endpoint is generating a high volume of file activity (e.g., acting as a file server or running automated tasks).
* Certain processes or scripts are repeatedly creating or modifying files, triggering emulations.
