# sk183439 - "Failed to find any routes on the machine" error when creating a Legacy VSX Gateway object for an R82 Maestro Security Group in SmartConsole

## Symptoms

- When creating a Legacy VSX Gateway object for an R82 Maestro Security Group in SmartConsole's VSX Gateway Wizard, this error message appears:

`Error: Failed to find any routes on the machine`

## Cause

If the **Install as VSNext / VSX** option is selected during the creation of a Maestro Security Group running R82 or higher, the Maestro Security Group is configured in the VSNext mode instead of the Legacy VSX mode.

## Solution

To create a Legacy VSX Gateway object for a Maestro Security Group running version R82 or higher, follow these steps:

1. In the Gaia Portal on the Quantum Maestro Orchestrator, open the Security Group creation settings.
2. Make sure the **Install as VSNext / VSX** option is **not**selected.
3. Proceed with the creation of the Maestro Security Group.

This configuration prevents the error and allows the Maestro Security Group to be properly recognized in Legacy VSX mode.
