# sk183433 - Quantum Security Gateway Fails to Boot from Gaia Installation Image Due to Incorrect ISO Filename

## Symptoms

- * The Quantum Security Gateway appliance is unable to boot from the Gaia installation image after an unsuccessful installation attempt.
* The system fails to start the installation from USB ISO image.
* The user is unable to proceed with reinstallation or recovery.

## Cause

The ISO file used for installation had an additional text, such as '(1)' appended to the filename (for example, *image (1).iso* ).  
Due to this additional text, the Quantum Security Gateway's boot process was unable to recognize the file as a valid installation image. As a result, the system was prevented from booting into the Gaia installation menu.

## Solution

1. Rename the ISO file:  
   Remove any additional text from the ISO filename so that it matches the expected format (example, *image.iso*).
2. Recreate the Installation Media:  
   Burn the renamed ISO file to a USB drive.
3. Reinstall:  
   Connect the USB drive to the Quantum Security Gateway appliance and boot the device.
The installation process should now proceed successfully, and the appliance will boot into the Gaia installation menu.
