# sk183415 - Remote Access VPN site creation failed, Security Gateway has both Remote Access and Mobile Access enabled

## Symptoms

- * A user of a Remote Access VPN client cannot create a new site.
* The Remote Access VPN Cient *trac.log* file shows:  
  `[TalkCCC] talkccc::RemoveRequest: Called with cccError 403`  
  Default path to *trac.log* file on Windows endpoint computer:   
  *C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CheckPoint\\Endpoint Security\\trac.log*   
  For some Remote Access VPN client versions, the default Windows path is:  
  *C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CheckPoint\\Endpoint Connect\\trac.log*   

  Default path to *trac.log* file on macOS endpoint computer:  
  */Library/Logs/Checkpoint/Endpoint Security/trac.log*   
  For some Remote Access VPN client versions, the default macOS path is:  
  */Library/Logs/Checkpoint/Endpoint Security/trac.log*

## Cause

Remote Access VPN clients initiate a connection to a Security Gateway on port 443. This port is used by the multiportal daemon, which handles traffic from [various portals](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk87920). For the multiportal daemon to work properly, IPSec VPN and the Remote Access Portal must use the same external interface on the Security Gateway.
