## Symptoms

- * An Identity Source (for example: Identity Collector) reads the Windows user sign-on events and forwards them to the Security Gateway. However, the "`pdp monitor user`" command displays the mapping information more than 10 minutes later. The Identity Awareness Blade logs in SmartConsole's **Logs \& Monitor** page show the applicable successful "Log In" logs only after the "`pdp monitor user`" command displays the mapping information.

* The output of the "`netstat -nap`" command shows that one or more `pdpd` processes have a high Recv queue. Here is an example:

  > `Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name `
  > `
  > tcp 196721 0 10.xx.xx.xx:48804 20.190.144.169:443 ESTABLISHED 64494/pdpd `

In the example of the command output above, the owner of the Foreign IP address is Microsoft.
* The pdp debug log reveals multiple blockers on the auth thread, as in this example:

  > `[worker_0] Warning: Messages processing blocked for 2770 milliseconds. `
* This scenario typically occurs in domains with a large number of users (over 2,000).
