# sk183351 - "Where Used" section in SmartConsole and the output of the "show-unused-objects" API call show different results

## Symptoms

- For a NAT-configured host that is not in the rule base, the output of the SmartConsole "Where Used" operation shows "No usages found". This is as expected. However, the output of the "`show-unused-objects`" API call shows no unused objects.

* The "Where Used" section in SmartConsole shows where a specific object is used within the security policy or other configurations.
* The "`show-unused-objects`" command in SmartConsole displays a list of objects that are not used in any policy or configuration.
