# sk183345 - Generic Data Center objects do not synchronize across Security Group Members in a Quantum Maestro environment

## Symptoms

- * In a Quantum Maestro environment, Generic Data Center objects do not synchronize across all Security Group Members.

* The `vsecUpdate.sh` file is present on the Single Management Object (SMO), but not on the non-SMO Security Group Members. The example output from the command below confirms this discrepancy:

  `
  [Expert@FW-ch01-01:0]# g_all ls -hal /opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/tmp/*_vsecUpdate.sh`
  `
  1_01:`
  `
  rw------ 1 admin root 1.5K Mar 21 15:51 /opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/tmp/FW_vsecUpdate.sh`
  `
  1_02:`
  `
ls: cannot access /opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/tmp/FW_vsecUpdate.sh: No such file or directory`
  `
  1_03:`
  `
ls: cannot access /opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/tmp/FW_vsecUpdate.sh: No such file or directory`

## Cause

The `vsecUpdate.sh` script, which is generated by the Security Management Server, updates the SMO, but not the non-SMO Security Group Members, as confirmed by the "`g_all dynamic_objects -cfo_show`" command.

Notes:

* The `vsecUpdate.sh` script is a shell script used by CloudGuard Controller (formerly vSEC) to update and synchronize information between the Security Management Server and Security Gateways regarding Data Center objects.
* The "`g_all dynamic_objects`" command is used on Scalable Platforms to manage dynamic objects across all Security Group Members at once.
