## Symptoms

- * Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps are generated only for the default Virtual System (VS0). No SNMP traps are received from other configured Virtual Systems (VSs).

  **Note**: An SNMP trap is a notification message sent from a managed device (like a firewall, router, or switch) to a network management system using the SNMP Protocol. SNMP traps alert the management system about significant events or changes in the device.
* Traffic captures on the SNMP trap server show no logs or dropped packets related to SNMP traps from VSs other than VS0.
